The pursuit of holiness in the Christian life begins and ends by abiding in our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Therefore, the men's ministry at Pleasant Valley is Christ-centered and relevant to men from all walks of life.  Please take advantage of the opportunities this ministry offers to grow closer to the Savior as we fellowship together.

Brotherhood Meets the last Wednesday Night of the Month at 7:00 PM!!

There is a crisis in America today. The enemy has invaded and established a stronghold among us. Our families and friends are not safe and freedom is in jeopardy. Look at what is happening around us:
  • One out of two marriages end in divorce.
  • 67% of all church-involved teens are sexually active.
  • Every 68 seconds a teenager in America attempts suicide.
  • 68% of American high school seniors have used illegal drugs.
The list could go on and on but I think you get the picture. Why is this happening? Because men have failed to be men. We let down our guard and the enemy infiltrated. It must stop. We must answer the call to be men once again. We must once again assume the biblical role of leader and protector of our families. We must stand in our churches and our communities and be willing to sacrifice and fight.

In Ezekiel 22:30 God spoke these words, “I have searched for a man among them who would repair the wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land so that I might not destroy it, but I found no one.” God is still looking and calling to men to stand in the gap for the land. Are you willing? We are calling upon real men to sacrifice the time and make the effort to answer the call to “stand in the gap”.

Each Thursday at 6:30 A.M. we will meet in the church social hall for a cup of coffee, a short time of fellowship, a devotion and prayer. We will pray for our families, our church, our community, our country, and our world. We will intercede and stand in the gap before God. Answer the call and come!  Be a G.A.P. Man - Guiding and Protecting our families and friends through prayer, Bible study, and worship.
